Plant and Dominate
(Part 1)

 Bible Text: 1 Peter 2v9,
Matt. 16v18, Matt. 28v18, 1Tim.2:3-4, Ps. 92v13

To be planted in God’s
house and to dominate every sphere of influence, especially in our local church. “But you are a chosen generation, a royal
priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the
praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1
Peter 2:9).
God has appointed us “…kings and
priests: and we shall reign on the earth,” according to Revelation 5:10.
This is strong! Let’s look at something noteworthy about Adam, the first man,
to better comprehend what God had in mind when He made us rulers. “Let us
make man in our image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion over the
fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the cattle, and over all the earth, and
over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth,” said God on the day
He created him. As a result, God made both males and females in his image,
creating man in the process. God also favoured them.

Plant and Dominate (Part 1) By Bishop Feyi Daniel

Church
represents a congregation or assembly

A church is a gathering of men and women called to light.

Church is a gathering of people that have been called out –
1Peter 2v9

Assembly of people called to light.

Christianity is a marvelous light – Matt. 16v18

The church was born on the resurrection morning, the
purpose was sealed and delivered on that morning.

The church is built already

The church is not the building but people, who are members
of his body.

What
makes a church meeting different from other meetings –

There is always a gathering whether online or offline,
gathering around the                        corporate grace.

To be a church, it has to be frequent, regular and
consistent.

This is the most common practice of the church, to gather
together.

We gather for prayers among many others

Preparing
for a believer’s meeting.

Plan ahead and prepare your heart

Arrive early

Prepare your seed or offering

Be intentional in everything you do before, during and
after church meetings

Spiritual growth must be intentional.

Making
a Disciple

1.
By teaching then. Matt. 28v18

18 Then
Jesus came to them and said,
“All
authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

19 Therefore
go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

20 and
teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am
with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew
28:18-20

To make a disciple is to teach them to follow precepts and
instructions

A disciple is a person that is won and thought

2.      By
planting them – 1Tim.2:3-4

To be planted means, to instill knowledge and doctrine in
the disciple

        To be grounded in truth

An error in doctrine will lead to an error in believers’
life

To be properly though and disciple until Christ is formed

What
does it mean to be planted – Ps. 92v13

Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall
flourish in the courts of our                                                     God
– Ps. 92v13

To be rooted and established in the truth

To dominate and flourish in the court of God

Summary:
For you to be planted, you must plant others.
