Call on Me in the Day of Trouble
And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will
deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
This call can only come from God the almighty, it is impossible for man to attempt such a pronouncement. Psalm 50:15 is a promise
from God that He will deliver us when we call on Him in the day of trouble.
This verse is a reminder that God is always with us, even in our darkest
moments. He is our refuge and strength, and He will never abandon us.
Three
(3) important key points from Psalm 50:15
The verse begins with the
words “call on Me.” This means that we must
reach out to God in prayer. We must tell Him our troubles and ask for His help.
God is not a distant God who is indifferent to our suffering. He is a loving
God who wants to help us through our trials.
The verse goes on to say
that God will “deliver” us. This means that He will
rescue us from our troubles. He will not leave us to suffer alone. He will come
to our aid and help us overcome our problems.
The final part of the
verse says that we will “glorify” God. This means that we will praise
Him and thank Him for His help. When God delivers us from our troubles, it is a
reminder of His power and love. It is also an opportunity for us to show our
gratitude to Him.
Psalm 50:15 is a powerful
promise from God. It is a reminder that we can always
count on Him, no matter what we are facing. When we call on Him in the day of
trouble, He will deliver us and we will glorify Him.
What more does God want
us to know from Psalm 50:15:
This verse is a reminder
that God is our refuge and strength. When we are in trouble, we can run to Him
for help. He will never abandon us.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. The reality is
that there will be difficult times, but God promises to be our refuge.
This verse is also a call
to worship. When God delivers us from our troubles, it is a time to praise Him
and thank Him for His goodness. The LORD hears the cries of the righteous, and
he relieves them from all their afflictions. The LORD is near to the
brokenhearted and delivers the spirit-crushed.
This verse can be a
source of hope for those who are facing difficult times. It reminds us that God
is always with us and He will never leave us. There is hope even when life
knocks you down and you feel insignificant. God and your loved ones can provide
you with support to help you continue to grow.
If you are facing trouble
today, I encourage you to call on God. He is faithful to His promises and He
will deliver you.
